Ingredients
24 wonton wrappers
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup mini pepperoni slices (or chopped regular pepperoni)
1/2 cup pizza sauce (plus extra for dipping)
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Optional: crushed red pepper flakes or grated Parmesan for garnish
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, combine mozzarella cheese, mini pepperoni, pizza sauce, and Italian seasoning.
Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Add about 1 teaspoon of the filling to the center of each wrapper.
Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold it over into a triangle or rectangle, pressing edges to seal completely.
Place the filled crunchers on the baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops with olive oil.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Let cool slightly before serving. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
You can air fry these at 375°F for 6–8 minutes for an even crispier version.
Swap out pepperoni for cooked sausage, mushrooms, or veggies for a meatless version.
To make ahead, assemble and freeze uncooked crunchers on a tray, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake from frozen, adding 2–3 minutes to cook time.
